Sharon Ann Lawson

Sharon Ann Lawson, 74, of Marianna, Florida died Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her residence.

She was born September 18, 1951, in Pennsylvania. Sharon worked for Sunland for over 20 years before retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her later years her world revolved around her family and she made the most of every moment she got to spend with them.

Sharon was a reader and was often crocheting while watching her favorite shows on the television. She loved spending time with her family and playing games on her phone. She was the center of her family and kept everyone close.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis lee Lawson, Sr.; twin sister, Karen Breitenbach; son, Joseph Lee Lawson; and granddaughter, Halena Grace Barnes.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Barnes; son, Curtis “Lee” Lawson, Jr.; grandchildren, Ronda Lawson, Angelo Lawson, Andrianna Barnes, James Barnes, III, Braden Blunt; great-grandchildren, Malaysia Watkins, Kartier Barnes; sister, Kathy Barlow; along with a host of extended family and friends she loved dearly.

Memorial service will be 2 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
