Russell Cecil Nowell, age 55, of Marianna, formerly of Cottonwood, Alabama, died Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Marianna Courtyard Nursing and Care Center. Russell was born to Omer Russell Nowell and Donna Duke Nowell on May 2, 1971.
He was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his aunt, Sandra Nowell; uncle, Larry Nowell; along with several nieces and nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation. No services are planned at this time.
James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
