She was a native of Houston County, Alabama. She lived most of her life in Jackson County, she was a waitress. She is survived by her son, Howard Hinton of Marianna; one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Old Friendship Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Houston County with Rev. Jim Harbert officiating.
