Rose Marie Pruner Reed

Rose Marie Pruner Reed, 85, of Marianna, Florida, formerly of Port St. Joe, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Courtyard Healthcare Center. She was born to Henry and Josephine Pruner on January 23, 1940. Rose graduated from James Madison University and was a Special Education teacher, as well as the author of "Journey in Consciousness".

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Josephine Pruner; her sister, Virginia P. Johnston; and two brothers, James M. Pruner and Hank C. Pruner. Rose is survived by her two daughters, Alexa Cross (Todd), Kara Woodburn (Chris); son, Kyle Reed (Amy); six grandchildren, Alexa, Virginia, and William Woodburn, Marseille, Delaney, and Ravenna Reed; her sister, Linda S. Kendall; along with five nieces and nephews.

The family extends appreciation to the special caregivers who provided for Mrs. Reed during her final years, especially the special nurses with Emerald Coast Hospice Care.
