Robin Yvonne Baxley

Robin Yvonne Maddox Baxley, 62, of Marianna, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at her residence.

Born on February 6, 1963, in Marianna, Robin dedicated her life to caring for others. She served as a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor at Jackson Hospital for over 30 years, touching countless lives with her compassion, strength, and commitment. Her career in nursing spanned many roles over the decades, reflecting her deep dedication to the well-being of her patients and community.

Robin was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Jesse Scarberry; her parents, Leonna Lewis and Jimmy Jesse Maddox; and her brother, Jimmy Eugene Maddox, Sr. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle Baxley Nicholas and son-in-law, Bill; her cherished grandchildren, Elycia, Joseph, Kendra (Ray), and Tanner; and her great-granddaughter, Aiyanna (Gracie), who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her brother, Davy Lee Adkins and his wife, Tracey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who will carry her memory forward.

Robin had a deep and abiding love for her family. She was a proud and devoted aunt to David, Jeremy, Justin, Jimmy Jr., Jennifer, Bailey, Jenae, Lily, Madison, Justin, Tina, Kelly, and many others whose lives she enriched with warmth and laughter. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A private gathering of family and close friends will be arranged at a later date to honor her life. Memorialization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Robin will be remembered for her selfless spirit, her fierce love for her family, and the unwavering care she gave to those in need. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and grace that will never be forgotten.
