Raymon Eugene Bruner, 78, of Graceville, Florida, died Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born on August 28, 1946, to the late John and Irene Nance Bruner. Raymon was one of five children and was proud to be a lifelong resident of Jackson County. November 24, 1990 he married Ann and they cherished every day together.
Raymon was a dedicated husband, father, Pa, and church member. When Raymon was not spending time with his family, or lending a helping hand, he was working. He worked in the furniture business over 20 years with Lehigh, Rebwood, and Westpoint. He owned and operated Bruner Farms, where he farmed peanuts, corn, soybeans, and wheat for 25 years. Once retired, he enjoyed pulling peanut wagons for Campbellton Farm Service. He was a jack of all trades, and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t build or repair. He was a great provider for his family.
He loved his church family and serving others. A great pillar of strength to his family, community, and church, Raymon will be deeply missed. His loving nature will endure in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His tender heart and honest character will be remembered for generations.
Raymon is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ann Bruner; children, Amy Brinkley, Melanie Brazell (Martin), Cara Cripes (Joseph), Chastity Curl (Tommy), Alana Allen (Ben); grandchildren, Trenton Brinkley (Mollie), Bishop Wall, Josh Jablonski (Helen), Drew Brazell (Kayla), Dalton Brazell (Ansley), Macy Brazell, Kennedy Williams (Parker), Jake Harris, Kaylee Cripes, Everly Curl, Lilly Ball, Kate Ball, Ava Ball; great-grandchildren, Daisy, Navy, Ansley, Carter, Carson, Waylon; siblings, Vicky Kolmetz (Danny), Mary Jo Turner (Wendel), Jess Bruner (Nan), Peggy Morris (Anthony); many nieces, nephews, church family and friends who loved him dearly.
