Patricia Burge

Patricia Ann Burge, 81, of Marianna, Florida passed away Friday, May 15, 2026.

Pat was born in Marianna Florida on February 7, 1945, to Emily and Rudell Cutchin. After graduating from Marianna High School, she joined the Navy while serving as the admiral’s secretary, she met and fell in love with Harold Burge, the admiral’s chauffeur. They married and she transitioned from Navy Wave to Navy wife. Together, they had two children. In 1986 they settled in Chattahoochee, Florida to be closer to her parents. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician with the State of Florida until she retired. 

Pat and Harold moved to Marianna two years ago to be closer to family. Pat enjoyed her pets, making arts and crafts, and experimenting with healthy cooking. She was dedicated to her family and to her faith. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she lived a life of faithful service, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. We will miss her.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Emily and Rudell Cutchin.  She is survived by her husband, Harold;  two children, Hank (Amy) and Allison Burge; four siblings: Jane (Harold) Tipton, Kathy (Joe) Dahlhoff, David (Vicki) and Alan (Stephanie) Cutchin; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will take place at 10 AM, on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Sims Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
