Mrs. Oneita Coley (Humpy,) passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was born on January 6, 1929 in Blountstown, FL to Jack and Ola Yon (Keels).
She lived a full life serving and taking care of others. She retired from Florida State Hospital then becoming a full-time caregiver. Oneita enjoyed fishing and working in her flowers. She always looked forward to visits from her dear friends Wayne and Peggy. She was a member of Sneads Assembly of God Church.
Oneita was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Coley; children: Robert Coley, Fred Coley, William Frank (Buddy) Coley and Betty Coley.
Oneita is survived by her daughter Carolyn Sheffield (Aubrey); brothers, Clyde Keels and Earl Keels (Georgie); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 AM CST Friday, May 16, 2025 at Sneads Assembly of God with Reverends Bill Mayo and Juno Douglas officiating. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM CST until the time of service at Sneads Assembly of God.
