Melenna Angela King

Melenna Angela King, 54, of Marianna Florida died Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at her residence.

She was born November 15, 1971, in Panama City, Florida to Gabriel Dickerson and Jeannie W. Page. She married her husband, John King, and had four boys, who she loved very deeply. Melenna loved cooking, being with her boys, gardening, and just spending time with family and friends. Her favorite place in the world was Mossey Pond, and a day there with loved ones was her favorite kind of day. She was a free spirit and known for her charisma and loving soul.

She is survived by her four sons, John D. Parker, Charles H. King, Garrett M. King, and Dalton E. King. Her husband, John King; her mother, Marsha Snyder Hill; sister, Heather Perez; two brothers, Robert Dickerson, and Johnny Dickerson; along with a handful of nieces and nephews; her best friend/sister, Norma Chamberlain, and countless other family members, and friends.

Memorialization will be by cremation. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
