Liz Stuart

Mary "Liz" Stuart, 67, of Cottondale, Florida, died Saturday, August 2, 2025.

Liz was born September 6, 1957, to the late Alto and Vitana Williams. She was married to the love of her life, David Stuart for 50 years at the time of her passing. Together, they built a life of love for their two daughters and their families. She was known as a constant mentor and cherished friend. A lunch buddy, prayer partner, and sounding board, she was there for her family and friends at all of life's twists and turns, happy and sad.

Her listening ear remained ever true to a confidence, and she was sought out for guidance by many. She was legendary in her field, helping her cohorts, whether it benefited her or not. She was a technical genius, a devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother, and an excellent advocate for the disabled. She was unstoppable, brutally honest, the most generous, thoughtful giver, and you never had to question where you stood with her. She was absolutely loved and adored by her family and friends.

She had a one-year-old yorkie, Zane, who she loved very much. Her favorite thing to do was to go to Duplin Winery and dance with David, and often Zane as well. She was full of love and truly thoughtful, with a one-of-a-kind creativity. She was an inspiration to all, a resilient and caring Granna who will never be forgotten. To know her was to love her, and although she finished her race much sooner than expected, her legacy will live on forever. She will always be loved, cherished, and will forever remain in our hearts.

Liz is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Davana Cline and husband, J.J., and their children, Rebekah, Annalyn, Benjamin, Olivia, Laura; and daughter, Sarah Caraway and her children, Abby and Della.

A celebration of Liz's amazingly incredible life will be held on Friday, August 8, from 12:00-2:00 pm at the VFW in Panama City Beach, 17680 Ashley Dr, Panama City Beach, FL, 32413.
