Kenny Dickens

Kenny Dickens, 51, of Bascom died Monday, July 19, 2021 at Jackson Hospital.  He was a lifelong resident of Bascom and a member of the Bascom United Methodist Church.

He was a true outdoorsman. Kenny loved hunting, fishing, gardening or doing anything outside. He was also a craftsman and could build or fix almost anything.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Dickens; and infant brother, Donnie Dickens. He is survived by two sons, Matthew and James Dickens; mother, Mary Dickens; sister, Gina Baxter (Keith) and children, Gannon Baxter, Lindsey Baxter-Kepner (Jonathon), and Brannon Baxter.

Graveside funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Bascom United Methodist Cemetery with Wendall Beall officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, July 23, 2021 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
