Juanita A. Laramore Prinz

Juanita Laramore Prinz, 91, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Marianna Health and Rehab in Marianna, Florida. Nita was born December 8, 1934, in Marianna, Florida to Audie and Lillian Sullivan Laramore.

She grew up in the Dry Creek area out of town and met her future husband, Carl Prinz in Marianna while he was stationed at Graham Air Force Base. Once Carl was out of the service, they moved to Gretna, LA, and lived there until they came back to Marianna to be closer to her family.

Nita had a great love for her family, especially her grandson, and the area she grew up in. She especially loved being outside working in her yard with all the different flowers and animals that she had an opportunity to watch and enjoy.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Anthony Prinz; son, Dale Anthony Prinz; daughter, Margie Prinz; grandson, Robert Anthony “Robbie” Prinz; brother, Julian Laramore; and sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Stephen “Vic” Villicic.

She is survived by brothers, Gordon (Virginia) Laramore, Herman (Charlotte, deceased) Laramore; sister, Kathy (Donald) Rehberg; and daughter-in-law, Alane Powell Prinz. "Nita" is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins, as well as many extended family members and a host of friends.

Graveside service will be 10 AM (CST) Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in Lipford Cemetery on Pittman Hill Road, with Rev. Alan Biggs officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
