Joseph Taylor Pitts

Joseph Taylor Pitts, age 32 of Eufaula, AL died June 3, 2026.

Taylor enjoyed all things outdoors; fishing, hunting, and motorcycle riding. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed any opportunity to be with them. He was a graduate of Lecanto High School, in Lecanto, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles and Patricia Chapman, and Joe and Ruby Pitts; and his uncle Charles Chapman, Jr.

Taylor is survived by his parents, Joseph and Cheryl Pitts (Eufaula); brother, Hunter Pitts (Eufaula): his uncle, Michael Pitts and his children, Addison and Charlotte Pitts all of Jacksonville, FL; Judy Matthews (Tallahassee); and a multitude of cousins, great aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, June 8, 2026, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Phil Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Free Will Baptist Church with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM prior to the service.
