Ida Lee Coley, lovingly referred to as “Doodle” was 86, when she passed on Thursday, March 5, 2025.
She was born in Round Lake, Florida on May 22, 1939, to Robert Curtis and Doris Stephens Benenfield.
Doodle was preceded in death by her husband, Marion James “MJ” Coley; eight siblings, three children, Rebecca Cerda, Clara Crawford and Greg Coley.
She is survived by her brother, Curtis “Carrol” Benefield; sister, Brenda Osbourne; sons, Marion “Amos” Coley, Jeff Coley; daughter, Helen Castorina; grandchildren, Melissa Hamrick, Rhonda Stewart, Kaitlin Coley, Dylan Mitch, Cheyenne Heath, Jeremy Swanson, Sarah Bryant, Marjorie Mindy Coley, James Dean Coley; and several great-grand children.
No services are planned at this time. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
