Glennis Faulk Wright, a resident of Marianna, Florida, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 3, 2026. She was 93 years old. She was born in Mineola, Texas on April 15, 1932, to Hubert and Christine Faulk.

Glennis was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Glennis was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Church of Marianna, Florida. She taught Sunday School for many years and participated in prayer groups and other activities in the church. She also served her community by volunteering at many local missions. Glennis also had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing and blessing others, whether singing in the choir, or singing for weddings, and other special occasions.

In addition to her parents, Glennis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Wright; her sons, David Wright and Doug Wright; sister Edith Little; and son-in-law, Archie McDaniel.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel Wright (Cindy), Darren Wright; daughter, Mary Kathleen McDaniel; sister, Travis Jean Logan; and daughter-in-law, Paula Wright; grandchildren, Russ McDaniel (Audrey), Michael McDaniel, James David Wright (Kymberlyn), Anna Marie Shealy (Ryan), Shawn Wright (Caitlin), Tytus Hodges (Peggy); great-grandchildren, Carolyn Grace Shealy, Claire Shealy, Brantley Wright, John David Wright, Savhanna McDaniel, Austin McDaniel, and Dylan McDaniel; along with several nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren who she loved dearly.

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1:00 pm Central Time at the First Presbyterian Church in Marianna, Florida with a memorial service following at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of the flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Marianna, Florida, or Big Bend Hospice, Tallahassee, Florida.
