Frederic Jay Watford

Frederic Jay Watford, 68 died Tuesday, September 22, 2026. 

He was born on October 24, 1957, to RJ and Sylvia B. Watford. He was a graduate of Marianna High School and of the Methodist Faith.

He had a passion for music, friends, and family and was always searching for the next big thing. He enjoyed cultivating ideas for new inventions and businesses. He loved discussing his ideas and reminiscing about friends and family from years gone by. He made many friends in his community in Graceville and had compassion and prayers for anyone in need of help. He was a wonderful uncle to two children who loved him very much. 

Frederic was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia B. Watford; his father, RJ Watford and his stepmother, Gwen Watford. 

He is survived by his brothers, Mike Watford and David Watford; his sister, Kay Powell; his niece, Charli Watford and his nephew, Gunnar Watford.

Graveside funeral services will be 10 AM Monday, September 28, 2026, at Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Graceville, Florida with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
