Donna Rumbley Collins

Donna Rumbley Collins, 90, of Greenwood, FL, died January 29, 2025, at her residence.

She was born May 1, 1934, to Gladine and Walter Rumbly. 

Donna worked as a secretary at a newspaper publishing house in Jacksonville, FL for many years. Her joy and passion was being a ballroom dancer and instructor. She eventually had her own dance studio. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Owens M. Collins; parents, Gladine and Walter Rumbley; son, Michael Walter Hines; granddaughter, Courtney Hines; sister, Marion Bigger; and brother, William Rumbley.

Donna is survived by her daughter-in-law, Renee Gamble (Hines); granddaughter, Kayla Hines and her grandson-in-law, V. Zabran; grandchildren, Nathan, Hanna, and Travis Lynch; great-grandchildren, Deanna and Vince Zabran, Grayson and Emma Lynch; niece, Kay Roberts; nephew, Roger Collins; great-nephew, Eric Hall.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2024, at Lovedale Baptist Church, with Randall Jarnigan officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Lovedale Baptist Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
