Don McCree Wamble, 82, of Cypress, FL died Friday, December 26, 2025 at Jackson Hospital.
He was born January 11, 1943 in Leesville, LA to Clyde and Geneva Wamble. In 1961, he married the love of his life, Mable Blighton. He cherished Mable every day until he passed 64 years later on their anniversary.
Don served in the US army as a truck driver. After leaving the service, he became a welder by trade. He always enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. and riding the four-wheeler and picking flowers with hsi grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Russell Wamble.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Mable Wamble, daughter, Sherryl Cummins and son, James Wamble; many grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
