David “Jason” Green, 56, of Marianna, Florida, died Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
He was born January 14, 1970, in Tampa, Florida, where he lived until 1995, when he moved to Marianna.
He could make anyone laugh and would light up any room. Jason had the biggest heart and was there for anyone who needed him. He was a faithful Christian and firm in his faith.
He loved sports; if he wasn’t playing baseball or football, he was watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Florida Gators. He was the king of spoiling his grandchildren and making sure they knew just how loved they were. Family was always his priority and ensuring every moment was lived to the fullest.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, David Earl Green; and granddaughter, Brilynn Grace.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janet Green; daughters, Jesica Pixton (Rick), Jacee Carr (John); grandchildren, Aiden, JT, Noah, Harper; mother, Letitia Green-Vinson; brother, Casey Green (April); many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial service will be 5 PM Monday, October 5, 2026, at Christian Center Church with Tyler Ford officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 4 PM untill the time of service.
