David C. Clark, age 63, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away November 6, 2025 after battling cancer.
David was born June 17, 1962. He was a graduate from the University of West Florida, earning a degree in computer science. After school, he moved to Tallahassee, FL and began working at the Florida Department of Transportation, where he was employed for 35 years. He was passionate about his work at FDOT. In 1992, he married his wife, Lisa Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ann Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Lisa) Clark; three children, Sarah Clark, Ashley Clark, and Charlie Clark; two sisters, Charleen Parker (Curtis) and Betty (BJ) Clark (Ron Holton), and many nieces, nephews and pets. Special note to one of our cats, Baby Spice, who sat with him during his entire battle.
David's favorite pastimes included listening to music and restoring antique guns. He also enjoyed fishing and photography. He loved to sit by an outside fire with his best friends and listen to music. He mostly loved hanging out with his son, Charlie.
David was an all-American kind of guy who followed the rules and was always available to help others. He loved Marianna, and he loved his family. He will be greatly missed. He continually listened to the song, “Angels” as he was ill, sung by John Farnham.
"We're lifted up by angels
Given wings to fly
Leave the night behind us
Trust the light to find us
Even as we rise."
