James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Edward Darrell Owens, 74, of Sneads died Sunday, June 12, 2011. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, served in The U S Army, retired from Florida State Hospital shipping and receiving department. He was of the Methodist faith and attended Circle Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by one sister-in-law, Edith Owens of Sneads; two nephews, Mike Owens of Sneads and Clay Owens and wife, Barbie of Dallas, TX.; one niece, Sheryl Marchetta and husband, Hank of Winter Park; numerous cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Circle Hill Baptist Church with Rev. John Holley officiating.
