Coy Bryant Kirkland

Coy Bryant Kirkland, age 92 of Marianna, FL died Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Jackson Hospital. He was born June 5, 1934, to Coy and Dora Simmons Kirkland. He went to school in Rehobeth, Al and Graceville, Fl. He served in the United States Air Force and worked as an airplane mechanic. Later, he worked at Vanity Fair as a sewing machine technician and machinist living 30 years in Monroeville, Al.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Jackson; brother, James Duward Kirkland; and one daughter, Jillan Leive Kirkland. His survivors include his wife, Mary Joyce Weathington/Kirkland; children, James Bryant "Jimmy" Kirkland, Terry Lamont Kirkland, Jody Gavin Kirkland, Steve Weathington, Tammy Geralds, Alicia Cole, Charles Weathington, Renee Weathington; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Memorialization will be by cremation. No services are planned at this time.
