Charles Glenn Harper

April 21, 1983 — December 9, 2025

Charles Glenn Harper Jr., age 42 of Marianna, FL passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025. He was born April 21, 1983, to Charles Glenn Harper, Sr. and Donna Gail Withers Harper.  Glenn was married to Bethany (Kleiser) Harper for 21 years and together had eight children, and two grandchildren.

Glenn worked for the Appalachee State Correctional Institution for 22 years as a Correctional Sergeant. Glenn loved working hard and providing for his family. Those who knew him will remember his banter, jokes, and witty humor, his love of finding deals online, at garage sales, and storage units to re-sell for profit for his family, and as a hobby with his wife. He maintained an unwavering desire to make certain his eight children were always taken care of, whether birthday parties, large Christmas gifts, or sporting practices. Glenn just loved surprising others with food and gifts.

Toward the end of his life, Glenn made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and attended Cottondale Baptist Church where he was recently baptized. His greatest joy he told us is to now see all eight of his children walk with the Lord. He will be remembered for his work ethic, his humor, and how much he loved and provided for his family. His legacy will continue through all who loved him.

Glenn was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Gail Withers. He is survived by his loving wife, Bethany Harper, their eight children, Madison, Mason, Morgan, Maddox, Micah, Maelyn, Max, and Myles; and two precious grandchildren, Rory and Oliver. Glenn’s wife and children were the center of his world, and his provision and love for them will forever shine through their lives.

Funeral services will be 10:00, Monday, December 15, 2025, at Cottondale First Baptist Church with Reverends Michael Petty and Charles Kleiser. Interment will follow in Cottondale First Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.
