Carol Jean Chason

Carol J. Chason, 55, of Marianna, Florida, died Tuesday June 10, 2025.

She was born on January 19, 1970, to Ernest and Catherine Chason. She was a graduate of HOPE school and enjoyed her time there. Carol was always loved by anyone who met her and relished in being the baby of the family. Carol truly loved music and enjoyed any time she got to go fishing. She cherished the simple pleasures of life and never took a day for granted.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Eugene and Mary Catherine Floyd Chason.

Carol is survived by her sister, Sherry Baber (Bill), brother; Garry Chason; nieces and nephews, Lori Conrad (Brett), Michael Baber (Michelle), Brandon Chason (Abbi); and many others who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be 10 AM, Thursday, June 12, 2025, at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Charles Barton officiating. Burial will follow in Hasty Pond Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
