Carol, the beloved daughter of the late Carl Virgil Clark and Bertha Carol Baniewich Clark, passed Tuesday, October 21, 2025. She was the eldest of six children. She was preceded in death by her son, Eric; her precious granddaughter, Katherine Page Bell; both her parents; and her sister, Elizabeth Rose Goglia. Here, left to cherish her memory are her two brothers, Carl Robert and Thomas Edward Clark and two sisters, Mary Margaret and Catherine Sue Clark Miller and a large extended family. She also leaves her precious son, Gregory, and his wife, Jocelyn and Eric’s children, Cody and Kayla.
Carol, fondly known by family members as Chipper, was an amazing daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and aunt. She was loved by everyone. Gentle and generous, she carefully chose the most wonderful and thoughtful gifts and cards. She loved to write letters longhand to family and friends with the most beautiful script, a lost art in modern times.
A master librarian, Carol could organize anything and was amazing in her job with the library systems. She took pride in her work and then brought her wonderful skills home to family, carefully organizing our lives and keeping everything spotless and on track.
Carol loved adventure and travel. She loved the excitement of cities and investigating their cultural offerings, restaurants, performances, and every attraction.
Her beautiful smile could light up the room and make everyone feel important, as she was extremely observant and could bring joy and perfectly chosen gifts and cards for everyone. We will miss her dearly until we can be together again.
Family and friends wish her peace and freedom from all earthly pain and trouble. We send our love and pray she will watch over us until we can join her in eternal happiness together again.
Memorialization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
