Betty Alberta Harrison

Betty A. Harrison, 76, of Marianna, died Friday, June 07, 2013, in Marianna. A native of Fairfield, ILL., Mrs. Harrison had resided in Marianna for the past five years. As a military wife and later as a civilian she traveled quite extensively. She loved to garden. Most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leon Harrison; her parents, Hayward J. and Reba Mae Burk Canull and one sister, Patsy Martin. Survivors include her daughter, Mitzi Spears and husband Ricky of Marianna; a grand daughter, Tasha Nicholson and husband Drew of Marianna; the love and joy of her life, two great grandchildren, Hailey and Harrison "Bubba" Nicholson; three brothers, Omer and Gene Canull both of DeFuniak Springs and Jim Canull of Sidney, ILL; three sisters, Sharon Gaither and husband Terry of Green Pond, AL, Dixie Lenseigne and husband Steve of Green Pond, Kathy Butler and husband Ray of Niceville. A host of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be at 10 am Monday, June 10, 2013 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev.
