James & Lipford Funeral Home P.O. Box 595/5390 Cotton St. Graceville, FL 32440 850 263-3238 Alex M. Toole, Jr., 86, of Graceville died Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Graceville, retired from Department of Transportation after 20 years of service. Mr. Toole enjoyed farming. Preceded in death by one son, Gerald Toole; a grandson, Alex Chip Toole; a great grandson, Rob Fowler. Survivors include his wife, Lou Nell Toole; his children, Don Robert Toole of Graceville, Alex Toole, III, Dianne Glasgow and husband, Dan of Wausau, Tony Toole and wife, Denese of Graceville; 14 grandchildren and several great-grand children. Funeral services will be Friday, July 24, 2009 at the chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville with Rev. Chester Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Methodist Cemetery near Graceville with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Friday, September 24, at 10 a.m., one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
