Minnie Russ Goines

August 15, 1945 - June 12, 2022

Sister Minnie Lee Russ Goines was born in Cottondale, Florida on August 15, 1945 to the late Silas Lawrence and Leola Russ White.  Minnie Lee affectionally called "Tuddie" accepted Christ at an early age and served faithfully, singing on Choir #3 at Henshaw Chapel A.M.E. Church. On June 12, 2022, at Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard, the Lord called and she answered.  The church and community are saddened by the transition because of the love and friendship of Sister Minnie. She leaves to cherish her memories one devoted son, Ronny Donald and Jeanette of Georgetown, Colorado; one grandson, Jason Donald; and one great-grandson, Jamari Donald both of Tacoma, Washington. Sister Minnie is survived by devoted niece, Betty Palmer of Newport News, Virginia; Amy and Rose Larry of Lynn Haven, FL; Sandra and Patricia of Connecticut, and  Yolanda of New Jersey; nephews, Michael, Clencie, Robert, Russell, Bruce, Kenderick, Martineze, Jimmy and Karlos Larry all of Lynn Haven, FL; Michael of Connecticut and Bernard of New Jersey; devoted cousin, Fannie Mae White of Marianna; and a host of cousins and others sorrowing relatives and friends. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Henshaw Chapel AME Church in Cottondale, Florida with Pastor Gantt officiating.
