Larry Dean

Larry Vance Dean, 79, of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Jackson Hospital. Larry described himself as a master fisherman. His family described him as a wonderful husband, loving father and amazing Pa to his five grandchildren. Larry truly loved the Lord. He was born May 2, 1942 to Walter Dean and Annis Mayo. Larry married the love of his life, Nancy, October 30, 1976,  together they had two daughters. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Nancy; his daughters, Larrian Williams (Dusty) and Lacy Farkash (Jon); his five grandchildren, Sarah, Natalie, Hunter, Madison and Mason; three brothers, Bill Dean (Brenda), Greg Dean (Mattie) and Gino Mayo (Susie); one sister, Lyn Mayo; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Dean and Annis C. Mayo; two nephews, Blake Dean and Brent Dean. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, August 28, 2021 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. Interment will follow in Bailey Cemetery Clarksville with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
