Andrew Earl Moats, 72, of Marianna died Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Jackson Hospital. He was born October 7, 1949 to M. J. and Rosie May Moats. From childhood through adulthood, he was always making people laugh. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Andrew was a loving father, husband, and Papa. He was often found tinkering on projects or enjoying some fresh oysters. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, M.J. and Rosie Moats; the mother of his children, Myrtice Moats; brothers, James Ray Moats, John Henry Moats, and Alec Moats; sisters, Katrine Weeks and Virginia Dale Chambliss. Survivors include his wife, Karen Moats; brothers, Roy Jack, William, and Kenneth Wayne Moats; and one sister, Minnie May; two daughters, Nancy Collins and husband, Robert Collins, Sabrina Sample and wife, Lisa Smith; grandchildren, Payton Hernandez, Robert Hernandez Jr., and Aubrey Junod.
